Return & Refund Policy

Each doadoa piece is created with care and attention to detail. This policy explains the return and refund conditions applicable to made-to-order tables and accessories purchased online from doadoa.

Nothing in this policy limits any mandatory consumer rights available to you under applicable law.

Made-to-Order Tables

All doadoa tables are made exclusively for the individual customer after an order has been placed and confirmed. We do not manufacture or hold tables as prefabricated stock.

Each table is produced on the basis of the specifications selected and confirmed for that particular order, including the design, dimensions, natural-stone variety and finish.

As doadoa tables are non-prefabricated and made to the customer’s individually selected specifications, the statutory right of withdrawal does not apply. Once an order has been confirmed, a table cannot be cancelled, returned or exchanged because the customer has changed their mind.

The made-to-order status and the exclusion of the statutory right of withdrawal will be clearly communicated on the relevant product page before the order is placed.

This exclusion does not affect your statutory rights if a table is delivered damaged, defective or incorrect, or otherwise fails to conform to the purchase agreement or the specifications confirmed with you.

Accessories

If you purchase an accessory online as a consumer and it has not been made to your individual specifications or clearly personalised, you normally have a statutory right to withdraw from the purchase without providing a reason.

You must notify us of your decision to withdraw within 14 days after the day on which you or a person designated by you, other than the carrier receive the accessory.

If an order contains multiple eligible products that are delivered separately, the withdrawal period begins on the day after the final product is received.

After notifying us of your decision to withdraw, you have a further 14 days to return the accessory.

How to Exercise Your Right of Withdrawal

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you may:

use the online withdrawal function available on our website;
send a clear statement of withdrawal to contact@doadoa.nl; or
use the statutory model withdrawal form provided to you.

Your statement should contain sufficient information for us to identify you and the relevant purchase. Please provide:

your full name;
the email address used to place the order;
your order number; and
the accessory or accessories you wish to return.

If you use our online withdrawal function, you will be asked to review and confirm your request before submitting it. We will then send you an acknowledgement by email stating which purchase is concerned and the date and time on which your request was submitted.

Where applicable, we will also provide the relevant return instructions.

Submitting a withdrawal request does not create a right of withdrawal for a product that is legally excluded from that right, including a made-to-order table.

Returning an Accessory

Please return the accessory without undue delay and no later than 14 days after notifying us of your decision to withdraw.

Please package the accessory securely to prevent damage during transport. Where reasonably possible, use the original packaging.

We recommend using a tracked shipping service and suitable transport insurance. Please retain your shipping receipt and tracking information until the return has been completed.

Condition of Returned Accessories

You may inspect an accessory only to the extent reasonably necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning, as you would be permitted to do in a physical shop.

You may be responsible for any reduction in value caused by handling or use beyond what is reasonably necessary for this assessment.

Where reasonably possible, the accessory should be returned in its original packaging. The absence of the original packaging does not by itself remove your statutory right of withdrawal, provided that the accessory is packaged adequately to prevent avoidable damage during return transport.

Return Shipping Costs

When you validly exercise your right of withdrawal, the direct cost of returning the accessory to doadoa is your responsibility.

This applies whether you return the entire eligible order or only part of it. doadoa does not reimburse these return shipping costs.

The exact return cost depends on the size and weight of the accessory, the place from which it is returned, the selected carrier and the shipping method.

These provisions do not apply when a product is returned because it was delivered damaged, defective or incorrect, or otherwise fails to conform to the purchase agreement. In that situation, doadoa will bear the necessary costs of providing an appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable consumer law.

Refunds

We will reimburse the applicable amount without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the day on which we receive your decision to withdraw.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the returned accessory or you have supplied evidence that it has been sent back, whichever occurs first.

If you validly withdraw from the entire order covered by the right of withdrawal, we will refund:

the purchase price of the returned products; and
the cost of our least expensive standard delivery method offered for that order.

Any additional delivery cost resulting from your choice of a more expensive delivery method will not be refunded.

If you return only part of an order, the original delivery costs will not be refunded unless those costs would have been lower if the returned product had not formed part of the original order.

The direct cost of sending an accessory back to doadoa remains your responsibility and is not included in the refund. This applies regardless of whether you return the entire eligible order or only part of it.

Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the original transaction unless you expressly agree otherwise. You will not be charged any fees for the reimbursement.

If an item was delivered damaged, defective or incorrect, or otherwise fails to conform to the purchase agreement, doadoa will bear the necessary costs of providing an appropriate statutory remedy.

Natural Stone

Natural stone is a material formed by nature. Variations in colour, veining, pattern, texture and structure are inherent characteristics of the material and make every doadoa piece unique.

Depending on the stone variety, natural pores, mineral markings, small cavities and subtle surface variations may also be present. These natural characteristics are not by themselves considered defects.

Images and samples are intended to provide a representative impression of the material. They cannot guarantee an identical colour, pattern, veining or surface appearance in the individual piece you receive.

This does not affect your statutory rights if a product is damaged, defective or incorrect, or is materially different from its description or the specifications confirmed with you.

Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Products

If your order arrives damaged, defective or incorrect, or otherwise fails to conform to the purchase agreement, please contact us at contact@doadoa.nl as soon as reasonably possible.

Please include:

your order number;
a clear description of the issue; and
clear photographs of the product and packaging, where reasonably possible.

We ask that visible transport damage be reported preferably within 48 hours of delivery. Prompt reporting helps us investigate the matter and contact the carrier efficiently.

Failure to report an issue within 48 hours does not limit or remove your statutory consumer rights.

We will assess the matter and provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable consumer law. You will not be charged the necessary costs of an applicable statutory remedy.
