- Customer refers to any individual or legal entity purchasing products from the Company.
- Products refer to all furniture, tables, sinks, home accessories and other natural stone products offered by the Company.
- Custom-made Products refer to products manufactured according to the Customer's requested dimensions, materials or specifications.

2. Applicability
These Terms & Conditions apply to every quotation, order, agreement and delivery offered by doadoa. By placing an order, the customer confirms having read and accepted these Terms & Conditions. Should any provision of these Terms & Conditions become invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain fully effective. Doadoa reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions where necessary. The version published on the website at the time an order is placed shall apply to that purchase.
3. About Our Products
Every doadoa piece is handcrafted using carefully selected natural stone. Because marble, travertine and other natural stones are products of nature, every piece is unique. Variations in colour, veining, texture, mineral deposits, pores and natural markings are characteristic of the material and contribute to its individual beauty. Many of our products are handcrafted and finished by skilled artisans. Minor variations in dimensions, detailing, edge profiles, finishes and the alignment of individual components may therefore occur. These characteristics are inherent to artisanal production and shall not be regarded as manufacturing defects.
The images displayed on our website are intended to provide an accurate representation of each design. However, due to the unique nature of natural stone, the delivered product will never be identical to the photographs shown. All dimensions published on the Website are approximate. Small production tolerances may occur and do not constitute grounds for complaints, cancellation, returns or compensation.
4. Stone Selection
Natural stone is the defining element of every doadoa creation. Each slab possesses its own distinctive colour palette, veining and character. While we carefully select every slab based on quality and appearance, no two pieces are ever identical. Customers acknowledge that natural variations between the product images shown on the Website and the delivered product are unavoidable and are considered an essential characteristic of handcrafted natural stone furniture. Should a Customer wish to select a specific slab for a bespoke project, this may be possible upon request and subject to availability.
5. Pricing
All prices displayed on the Website are stated in euros (€) and include VAT where applicable. Shipping costs are calculated separately and displayed during checkout unless otherwise stated. Doadoa reserves the right to modify prices without prior notice. Such changes shall not affect orders that have already been confirmed. In the event of obvious pricing or typographical errors, doadoa reserves the right to cancel or correct the order before production begins.
6. Orders & Payment
An Agreement is concluded once the Customer has placed an order and payment has been successfully received. For made-to-order and bespoke furniture, production will commence only after payment has been completed and all specifications have been confirmed. Doadoa reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order where there is reasonable cause to do so, including but not limited to pricing errors, payment issues or unforeseen production limitations. Ownership of all Products remains with doadoa until full payment has been received.
7. Bespoke & Custom made furniture
Doadoa offers the possibility to customise existing designs or create fully bespoke furniture. Custom dimensions, materials, finishes and other specifications are confirmed with the Customer before production begins. Because bespoke products are manufactured exclusively for the Customer, changes or cancellations cannot be accepted once production has commenced.
Custom Made Products are excluded from the statutory right of withdrawal where permitted under applicable consumer legislation. Doadoa will make every reasonable effort to manufacture bespoke products according to the agreed specifications. Minor variations resulting from the handcrafted production process or the natural characteristics of stone shall not be regarded as defects.
8. Lead Times
Most doadoa products are handcrafted and made to order. Estimated lead times are displayed on the relevant product pages and should be regarded as indicative only. While doadoa strives to complete every order within the estimated timeframe, lead times may vary depending on material availability, production capacity, transport conditions or unforeseen circumstances.
A delay in production or delivery shall not entitle the Customer to cancel the Agreement, refuse delivery or claim compensation, unless otherwise required by applicable law. Should a significant delay occur, doadoa will inform the Customer as soon as reasonably possible.
9. Shipping & Delivery
Doadoa currently delivers exclusively within the European Union. All Products are carefully packaged and shipped through trusted freight carriers to ensure safe transportation. Once an order is ready for dispatch, the Customer will be contacted to arrange a suitable delivery date.
Delivery is made to the address provided by the Customer during checkout. It is the Customer's responsibility to ensure that all delivery information is accurate and complete. White-glove delivery may be available in selected regions upon request and at an additional cost. Unless otherwise agreed, delivery is completed once the Product has been delivered to the agreed delivery address.
10. Delivery & Access
Due to the weight and dimensions of our handcrafted natural stone furniture, all made-to-order products, including dining tables, coffee tables, side tables and consoles, are delivered to the front door or main entrance of the delivery address. Standard freight delivery does not include carrying the Product inside the property, transporting it to a specific room, unpacking, assembly or placement in the desired location. The Customer is responsible for arranging any additional assistance required to move and position the Product after delivery.
If delivery cannot be completed due to restricted access or incorrect information provided by the Customer, any additional transport, storage or redelivery costs may be charged to the Customer.
11. Inspection Upon Delivery
The Customer is required to inspect the Product immediately upon delivery. Any visible transport damage, incorrect delivery or missing items must be reported to both the freight carrier and doadoa within 48 hours of delivery. Reports should include clear photographs of both the product and its packaging.
The Customer should retain all original packaging until the matter has been resolved. Failure to report visible damage within the specified period may affect doadoa's ability to submit a claim with the carrier and may limit the available remedies. This Article does not affect the Customer's statutory rights regarding hidden manufacturing defects that could not reasonably have been discovered upon delivery.
12. Returns & Right of Withdrawal
Consumers purchasing standard Products through the Website may have the right to withdraw from the Agreement within 14 days after receiving their order, in accordance with applicable European consumer legislation.
To qualify for a return, the Product must:
- be unused and undamaged;
- be returned in its original packaging where reasonably possible;
- be accompanied by all supplied accessories and documentation.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the Customer unless the return is the result of an incorrect or defective delivery. After inspection of the returned Product, any approved refund will be processed using the original payment method. The statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to Custom Made Products or Products manufactured according to the Customer's individual specifications, where permitted by applicable law.
13. Warranty
Doadoa provides the statutory warranty applicable under European consumer law. The warranty covers defects resulting from manufacturing or workmanship that become apparent under normal residential use.
The warranty does not cover damage resulting from:
- improper use or misuse;
- accidental impact or neglect;
- incorrect installation or handling;
- failure to follow the recommended care instructions;
- normal wear and tear;
- scratches, stains or etching caused by acidic substances;
- natural variations or characteristics of the stone as described in these Terms & Conditions.
Should a manufacturing defect arise within the applicable warranty period, doadoa will assess the issue and determine the most appropriate solution, which may include repair, replacement or another suitable remedy, in accordance with applicable law.
14. Care & Maintenance
Natural stone is a durable material that benefits from proper care and maintenance. Customers are responsible for following the care instructions provided by doadoa. We recommend cleaning natural stone surfaces with a soft cloth and a pH-neutral cleaner specifically suitable for natural stone. Acidic substances, abrasive cleaning products and prolonged exposure to moisture or staining liquids should be avoided.
Natural ageing, subtle changes in appearance and the development of character over time are considered normal properties of natural stone and shall not be regarded as defects. Damage resulting from improper maintenance, unsuitable cleaning products or misuse is not covered under the warranty.
15. Installation & Assembly
Many doadoa products are crafted from solid natural stone and are therefore exceptionally heavy. The Customer is responsible for arranging sufficient assistance to safely move, position and install the Product after delivery. Larger furniture pieces, including dining tables, coffee tables, consoles and stone sinks, must be handled by an appropriate number of capable persons or by professional furniture installers. The required number of persons depends on the dimensions, construction and weight of the Product. Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, standard delivery does not include carrying the Product into the property, unpacking, assembly, installation or placement in a specific room.
The Customer is responsible for ensuring that the intended location is accessible, level, stable and suitable for supporting the Product’s weight. The Customer must also check that floors, walls, fittings and surrounding surfaces are adequately protected during installation. Any assembly or installation instructions supplied by doadoa must be followed carefully. Components must not be forced, modified, drilled or otherwise altered without prior written approval from doadoa.
Doadoa is not responsible for damage to the Product, property or surrounding surfaces caused after delivery by incorrect handling, insufficient assistance, improper assembly, unsuitable installation conditions or failure to follow the provided instructions. Where professional installation is required or recommended, the Customer is responsible for arranging and paying for this service unless it has been expressly included in the order confirmation.
16. Limitation of Liability
Doadoa shall only be liable for direct damages resulting from a failure to fulfil its contractual obligations or where such liability arises under mandatory applicable law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, doadoa shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of profit, loss of business, loss of opportunity or any other financial loss. Doadoa shall not be liable for damage resulting from improper use, incorrect installation, insufficient maintenance, accidental impact, normal wear and tear, or failure to follow the care and installation instructions provided. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
17. Force Majeure
Doadoa shall not be held liable for any delay or failure to fulfil its obligations where such delay or failure results from circumstances beyond its reasonable control. Force majeure includes, but is not limited to, natural disasters, extreme weather conditions, fire, pandemics, government restrictions, strikes, transportation disruptions, shortages of raw materials, supplier delays, power outages and other unforeseen events that prevent or significantly delay production or delivery. In the event of force majeure, doadoa shall make reasonable efforts to minimise any delay and keep the Customer informed. If a force majeure situation continues for an extended period, both parties shall have the right to terminate the Agreement where permitted by applicable law.
18. Intellectual Property
All content displayed on the Website, including but not limited to product designs, photographs, renderings, illustrations, texts, logos, graphics and branding, remains the exclusive intellectual property of doadoa or its licensors. No content may be copied, reproduced, distributed, published, modified or used for commercial purposes without the prior written permission of doadoa. The purchase of a Product does not grant the Customer any intellectual property rights relating to the Product design or any content displayed on the Website.
19. Privacy
Doadoa processes personal data in accordance with applicable privacy legislation, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Personal information is collected solely for purposes related to processing orders, providing customer service and improving our services. For more information regarding the collection, processing and storage of personal data, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
20. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms & Conditions and all Agreements between doadoa and the Customer shall be governed exclusively by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes arising from these Terms & Conditions or any Agreement shall be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands, unless mandatory consumer protection legislation provides otherwise. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects the statutory rights granted to consumers under applicable European Union legislation.
21. Contact Information
If you have any questions regarding these Terms & Conditions, your order or any of our Products, please do not hesitate to contact doadoa. We are committed to providing clear communication and excellent customer service throughout every stage of your purchase. Contact details can be found on our Website or by using the contact form available online.
22. Entire Agreement
These Terms & Conditions, together with the order confirmation and any written agreements between doadoa and the Customer, constitute the entire agreement relating to the purchase of the Product. Any previous agreements, correspondence, discussions or representations, whether oral or written, are superseded by these Terms & Conditions unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.
If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. Any waiver by doadoa of a right or provision under these Terms & Conditions shall not be deemed a continuing waiver of that or any other right.
